Behind every successful hotel is a strong Finance team, and this luxury London property is looking for an experienced Payroll Manager to join theirs.

Working as part of the hotel’s Finance team, you’ll take ownership of the end-to-end payroll for over 350 employees, ensuring everything is processed promptly, accurately and in line with current UK legislation.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-starting payroll professional with experience in a large hotel or restaurant group, who is confident managing a high-volume payroll and using Fourth Hospitality.

Responsibilities as the Payroll Manager…

  • Managing the end-to-end monthly payroll for over 350 employees, including starters, leavers, holiday, sickness, deductions and statutory payments
  • Ensuring payroll is processed promptly and accurately, in line with PAYE, National Insurance, National Minimum Wage and wider UK payroll legislation
  • Overseeing pensions, auto-enrolment, HMRC submissions and year-end requirements, including P11Ds and PSA reporting
  • Preparing payroll journals, reconciliations, forecasts, service charge calculations and reports, as well as carrying out relevant competitor analysis
  • Taking a proactive approach to the payroll function, supporting employee queries and continually looking for ways to improve processes, controls and efficiency

You’ll know UK payroll inside out, have excellent attention to detail and be confident working at pace without compromising on accuracy. Previous payroll experience within a large hotel or restaurant group and strong working knowledge of Fourth Hospitality are essential. You’ll also be a proactive self-starter who is comfortable creating reports, analysing information and taking real ownership of the payroll function.
