We’re so excited to be assisting a much-loved countryside gastropub, set in a beautiful village just outside Bristol, as they search for an ambitious Sous Chef to become an integral part of their close-knit team.
You’ll be wondering what’s in it for you as the Sous Chef…
- £35,000 per annum plus £7,000 service charge
- Working alongside a passionate and supportive Head Chef
- Working 45 hours per week
- Cooking with fresh, locally sourced seasonal ingredients
- Opportunity to develop your skills within a quality-led kitchen
Responsibilities as the Sous Chef…
- Supporting the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen
- Preparing and delivering beautifully presented dishes using the finest seasonal produce
- Leading the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence and ensuring consistently high standards
- Mentoring and developing junior chefs, helping to build a positive and motivated brigade
- Assisting with stock control, ordering and maintaining excellent food hygiene standards
