Our client is a quintessential English stately home which has been turned into a luxury 5 star venue where grandeur meets gastronomy. Their commitment to culinary excellence is unwavering, and we’re excited to help them find a Pastry Chef de Partie to join their exceptional pastry team.

The Role:

As a Pastry Chef de Partie, you’ll be an integral part of their dynamic culinary brigade, working alongside three other highly skilled pastry chefs, all under the guidance of a superb Executive Chef. This isn’t your ordinary pastry role; it’s a journey through a world of sweet and savoury delights set within an enchanting backdrop.

What You’ll Do:

Diverse Culinary Playground: The venue boasts multiple food & beverage outlets, each with its own unique character and menu. Your role will be as diverse as the offerings. From creating exquisite desserts for the venue’s fine dining restaurant to crafting pastries for their charming café, your skills will shine in various historic settings.

Quality & Excellence: You’ll work with the finest ingredients and cutting-edge techniques to ensure that every creation meets the venue’s 5 star standards.

Mentorship & Growth: Under the mentorship of the Executive Chef, you’ll have opportunities for personal and professional growth. We have worked with this property for years and the Exec Chef really believes in nurturing talent and helping you reach your full potential.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Passion for Pastry: Your love for pastry will be evident in every creation. You’ll have a keen eye for detail and a dedication to perfection, fitting for a luxury 5 star venue. You will ideally come from a luxury hotel and high-end restaurant background.
  • Team Player: Collaboration is at the heart of this kitchen. You’ll thrive in a team environment, working seamlessly with fellow chefs to exceed guests’ expectations whilst working in state-of-the-art kitchens enabling you to showcase your talent and skills in pastry.
  • Creativity: You’re not just a chef; you’re an artist. Your innovative approach to pastry delights and desserts sets you apart.

 Salary & Benefits

  • £30,000 to £32,000 per annum
  • Accommodation available
  • 40 hours per week contract  
  • 20 days paid holiday each year plus bank holidays.
