An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and creative Pastry Chef to join an ambitious, highly regarded restaurant in the heart of Cambridge.
With a strong focus on quality ingredients, beautifully executed dishes and consistently high standards, this is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a passionate kitchen team of 10.
The restaurant is continuing to build on its reputation, and they’re looking for a Pastry Chef who can bring fresh ideas, have a real say in menu development and put their own stamp on the pastry offering.
With a 3.5-day working week and flexibility around days off, this role offers a great balance between working in a quality-driven kitchen and enjoying time outside of work.

- £40,000 to £45,000 package (DOE)
- 3.5-day working week (Working 3 doubles of 9am to 11pm and a single of 9am to 5pm)

Responsibilities as the Pastry Chef…
- Creating and delivering high-quality desserts that complement the restaurant’s food offering
- Playing an active role in menu development and seasonal changes
- Maintaining consistently high standards of presentation, flavour and quality
- Working closely with the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Taking ownership of the pastry section and ensuring everything runs to the highest standard
Ideally, you’ll have experience working within a 2 AA Rosette or higher establishment, with a strong pastry background and a genuine passion for creating exceptional desserts. They’re looking for someone who is confident, creative and excited by the opportunity to make their mark on the menu.
