Our client is a contemporary lifestyle village nestled in the Wiltshire countryside. With elegant surroundings, a relaxed yet refined atmosphere, and a strong sense of community, this vibrant village offers restaurant-style dining and exceptional hospitality to its discerning residents and their guests.
They are now looking for a passionate and experienced Head Chef to lead their culinary offering, championing fresh, seasonal produce and delivering consistently high-quality dishes with warmth and care. This is an exciting opportunity to have full autonomy over the menu and work in a supportive, close-knit kitchen team.
You’ll be wondering what’s in it for you as the Head Chef…
- £45,000 per annum (DOE) plus a £3,500 annual bonus
- Predominantly daytime hours, with only two evening shifts per week (Friday and Saturday)

Responsibilities as the Head Chef…
- Leading and inspiring a small, dedicated kitchen team
- Creating and developing seasonal menus using fresh, locally sourced produce
- Overseeing daily service, events, catering and private dining
- Ensuring the highest standards of food hygiene, safety and allergen compliance
- Managing kitchen budgets, stock control and ordering
- Working closely with management to tailor menus to resident preferences
You’ll have experience in high-quality 4/5 star hotels or restaurants, strong leadership skills, and a passion for seasonal dishes. Food Safety Level 3 and allergen knowledge are essential.
