Head Chef – Gastropub

We are so excited to now be collaborating with a fantastic group of gastropubs. One of their luxurious country retreats with rooms, which has recently undergone a refurbishment, is looking for a passionate Head Chef to take the lead in their kitchen.

You’ll be wondering what’s in it for you as the Head Chef…

  • £40,000 per annum plus £7,000 service charge
  • Working 45 hours per week
  • Cooking with fresh, locally sourced ingredients
  • Leading a talented team of 4/5

Responsibilities as the Head Chef…

  • Creating a variety of stunning dishes from the gastropub’s ever-changing seasonal menus
  • Having full autonomy over the menu and curating a menu of delicious dishes
  • Making the most of the kitchen’s access to fresh, locally sourced ingredients
  • Passing on your knowledge and expertise to the more junior chefs in the brigade

As Head Chef, you will have full autonomy over the menu and will be responsible for creating a variety of fresh high-quality dishes for up to 100 covers at lunchtime over the weekend and 100 covers at dinner services.
