A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join an exclusive private estate in Wiltshire as a Gardener. This beautiful property offers a peaceful, serene environment, and we are looking for a dedicated individual to maintain the gardens and land to the highest standard, while also taking care of the estate’s farm animals.
In this role, you will be responsible for tending to the grounds, ensuring the gardens remain healthy, and beautifully manicured throughout the year. You will also assist with looking after the estate’s animals, including two dogs, two sheep, two rabbits, two goats, four to five chickens, and three ducks. A love for nature, and animals, and a strong work ethic are essential.
As part of the team, you will be expected to exhibit flexibility, particularly during busier periods, and you must be comfortable driving to London occasionally for errands and tasks related to the estate. You’ll play a key role in maintaining this tranquil, high-end environment and supporting its daily operations.

- £35,000 per annum
- Working Monday to Friday (9:00 am to 5:00 pm) with flexibility for occasional weekend work if needed

Responsibilities as the Gardener…
- Maintaining the gardens and land of the estate to a high standard throughout the year.
- Ensuring the estate’s farm animals are well cared for and healthy, including the dogs, sheep, rabbits, goats, chickens, and ducks.
- Assisting with any special gardening needs and seasonal tasks.
- Reporting any maintenance issues or concerns with the land or animals to the House Manager.
- Driving to London on occasion as required for errands or tasks related to the estate (a driving license is essential).
