Former Le Manoir Head Chef Dorian Janmaat has recently opened his first-ever restaurant, Ardor, in Cornwall!🙌🏼✨

Officially opened on the 6th of July, Ardor is set in the heart of St Ives, spread across two floors, and accommodates up to 60 covers.

Ardor serves a variety of dishes influenced by the food cultures of the Iberian Peninsula and Mediterranean coast, proudly using the freshest Cornish seafood and dry-aged cuts cooked over charcoal.🐟🦀🥒🥩

The opening of Ardor marks Janmaat’s transition from his most recent role as Executive Head Chef at the 3 Rosette The Idle Rocks. Janmaat’s impressive culinary background includes his tenure at the 2 Michelin-starred Le Manoir.🌟🏵️

Having recently undergone an extensive £13 million refurbishment, this is a wonderful time to join the team as they enter a new chapter and work towards developing their team.🙌🏼✨

As Head Chef, you will have experience working in luxury hotels and have your own mode of transport due to the location of the hotel.🚙

Michelin-starred chef Clare Smyth has crafted an exceptional career in the Hospitality Industry. Growing up on a farm in County Antrim, Northern Ireland, Clare moved to England at 16 to study culinary arts at Highbury College.👩🏼‍🍳⭐️

Her early career saw her working in various UK and Australian restaurants, staging under influential chefs worldwide. Clare joined Restaurant Gordon Ramsay and worked her way up to become Senior Sous Chef in 2002. From 2005 to 2007, she trained with the team at Alain Ducasse’s Le Louis XV in Monte Carlo before returning to Restaurant Gordon Ramsay as Head Chef in 2007. In 2012, she became Chef Patron, making her the first and only female chef to run a three-Michelin-starred restaurant in the UK.🤩

After working under Gordon Ramsay for 13 years, Clare opened her first restaurant, Core by Clare Smyth in 2017. Within its first year, Core was awarded two Michelin Stars, and in 2021, it achieved the coveted three Michelin Stars. Core also holds 5 AA Rosettes.🌟🌟🏵️🏵️🏵️🏵️🏵️
