Profiles of Prestige with Luke Selby✨

Born in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, Luke Selby moved to West Sussex at the age of five and quickly found his passion for cooking.🇸🇦

His culinary journey began with a week of work experience at Le Manoir Aux Quat’ Saisons while still studying his A-Levels. After completing his studies, he joined Le Manoir as a Commis Chef in 2009, steadily working his way up to Sous Chef over six years.🍽️⭐️ 

In 2015, Luke joined the prestigious 3-Michelin-starred Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, leaving a year later as Junior Sous Chef. He then moved to Dabbous, where he advanced to Head Chef in 2017. That same year, he won the renowned Roux Scholarship, which led him to complete a stage at Nihonryori Ryugin in Tokyo. Upon his return, Luke worked at Hide in Mayfair, helping the restaurant secure its first Michelin Star in 2019.🏆🇯🇵 

In April 2020, Luke, alongside his two brothers, took over Evelyn’s Table, earning a Michelin Star in 2022. In early 2023, Luke returned to Le Manoir Aux Quat’ Saisons as Executive Head Chef, leading the 2-Michelin-starred, 5-Rosette restaurant alongside Raymond Blanc.🌟🌟🏵️🏵️🏵️🏵️🏵️

Luke’s numerous accolades, including winning the Young National Chef of the Year in 2014 and the National Chef of the Year in 2018, are a testament to his exceptional talent and dedication to the craft of fine dining.🙌🏼
