We are so excited to be assisting a delightful gastropub with rooms nestled in Northumberland. They are looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join their team in creating an array of delicious dishes that celebrate the seasons. From flavoursome lunches to afternoon tea treats and decadent dinners.
You will have experience working in a similar role for at least 2 years and an NVQ Level 3.

- £32,000 per annum plus circa £4,000 to £5,000 service charge

Responsibilities as a Sous Chef…
- Crafting a variety of seasonal dishes to wow guests enjoying a meal at the gastropub
- Creating a positive working environment and providing support in the training and development of the team
- Going above and beyond to ensure exceptional standards of food service are delivered consistently
- Assisting the Head Chef in making sure the kitchen operates smoothly and effectively on a daily basis
- Using a variety of equipment including a waterbath, paco jet, thermomix, vita prep, robo coupe, rational ovens, rofco bread oven, dehydrator and more
Working alongside a highly skilled Head Chef who has a wide array of culinary experience, you will be tasked with pleasing the palates of up to 100 covers at lunch and 40 to 50 covers during the evening service.
