We are assisting a 70m+ Sailing Yacht that is currently located in San Diego. They are looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join their crew.
As the Sous Chef, you will work closely alongside the talented Head Chef. This is an excellent opportunity to elevate your skillset and get creative in the galley as you create a selection of showstopping dishes to wow guests.
The boat has an extensive sailing itinerary including spending time in Costa Rica before sailing through the South Pacific in summer and ending the year in New Zealand. Therefore, someone looking to avoid the milk run is ideal.

- Producing a wide variety of delicious dishes
- Considering allergies and dietary requirements
- Creating meal plans
- Keeping a clean and tidy galley
- Communicating effectively with the Head Chef
The Individual:
- You will be an experienced Sous Chef who has previously worked on a similar size Sailing Yacht
- You will have your B1B2 Visa and Ships Cook Certificate
- You will be open to exploring new flavour combinations and ingredients
- You will be eager to gain invaluable yachting experience
