They’re now looking for a dedicated and hands-on Shift Engineer to join their talented team and help keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
This role is ideal for someone who is trade-qualified, well-presented, and confident enough to assist guests when needed. You’ll be joining a strong and well-skilled maintenance team who are essential in ensuring the highest standards across the estate.
You must have a full driving licence and your own transport.

- £32,500 per annum plus £4,000 service charge

Responsibilities as a Shift Engineer…
- Carrying out day-to-day general maintenance across the hotel and estate, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas
- Responding swiftly and efficiently to maintenance requests from guests and staff
- Supporting planned preventative maintenance and ensuring safety standards are met
- Working a rota of early, mid and late shifts across 5 days per week
- Communicating clearly and professionally with other departments and guests when required
- Using your technical knowledge and practical experience to help keep the hotel in impeccable condition
We’re looking for someone with:
- A relevant trade qualification (electrical, plumbing, or similar)
- A smart and professional appearance
- Great communication skills and the confidence to interact with guests if needed
- Previous experience in a high-end or hotel environment
- A flexible and proactive approach to shift work
