We are so pleased to continue collaborating with a stunning country house hotel located near Cheltenham. Having undergone an exciting refurbishment last year, they are now looking for an experienced Senior Sous Chef to join their growing team.
As Senior Sous Chef, you will work closely alongside the Head Chef to manage, motivate and guide their kitchen brigade of 14.

- £39,000 per annum plus £5,000 to £6,000 service charge

Responsibilities as the Senior Sous Chef…
- Maintaining a high level of food quality and production and going above and beyond to meet and exceed guests expectations.
- Supporting the Head Chef in managing the kitchen brigade of 14 and ensuring a smooth running kitchen operation.
- Working closely alongside the Head Chef to ensure effective control of stock purchasing, receipt, storage, and preparation.
- Passing on your culinary expertise and training junior staff, encouraging their career development.
You will be creating a variety of high-quality dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients grown on the grounds of the hotel. The restaurant does 80 covers at both lunch and dinner as well as hosting weddings for up to 150 guests.
