We’re working with an incredibly prestigious and discreet private members’ club in London that is looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to take responsibility for the upkeep of its beautiful property.
This is a hands-on, standalone role where you’ll oversee everything from day-to-day repairs and planned maintenance to Health & Safety, contractors and refurbishment projects.
It could be a brilliant move for an experienced Maintenance Manager looking to step away from a larger, fast-paced operation and into a more intimate and established environment where you can really take ownership of the property.
Due to the exclusive nature of the Club and its membership, discretion and confidentiality are incredibly important, and the successful candidate will be required to undergo appropriate vetting.
You’ll be wondering what’s in it for you as the Maintenance Manager…
- £45,000 per annum plus tronc
- Company pension contribution of 5% to 10%, depending on experience
- Staff meals whilst on duty
- Working within an incredibly exclusive London private members’ club
- Plenty of autonomy to manage the maintenance of the property
Responsibilities as the Maintenance Manager…
- Taking care of the day-to-day maintenance of the Club, including bedrooms, dining spaces, public areas and back-of-house facilities
- Carrying out hands-on repairs, fault-finding and preventative maintenance
- Managing Health & Safety, statutory checks and maintenance records across the property
- Overseeing plant, building systems and commercial kitchen equipment
- Managing external contractors and ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
- Project managing CAPEX, refurbishment and improvement works throughout the year
This role would suit an experienced Maintenance Manager with a strong technical background and at least 4–5 years’ experience in a similar position, ideally within a luxury hotel, private members’ club or high-end hospitality environment. An IOSH or NEBOSH qualification would be highly advantageous.
Above all, they’re looking for someone hands-on, self-sufficient and highly discreet who takes pride in looking after a beautiful property and would enjoy becoming a trusted part of a long-established Club.
PLEASE NOTE YOU WILL NEED THE RIGHT TO WORK IN THE UK TO BE SUITABLE FOR THIS ROLE.
