With a biodynamic farm on-site and a philosophy rooted in sustainability and craft, this hotel delivers simple, elegant dishes that let the ingredients speak for themselves.
They are now looking for a Junior Sous Pastry Chef to join their growing pastry team.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting the Head Pastry Chef in creating exceptional desserts, breads, and baked goods that celebrate the seasons
- Using ingredients from the hotel’s own farm and local producers to craft refined, ingredient-led dishes
- Assisting in mentoring junior team members and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation
- Contributing to the development of new menus that reflect the rhythms of the land and a modern British sensibility
The ideal candidate:
- A strong background in pastry within high-end hotels or restaurants
- A passion for sustainability, seasonality, and the craft of baking
- A calm and positive leader with a keen eye for detail and quality
- Enthusiastic about working closely with a farm-to-table kitchen ethos
