We are currently collaborating with a luxury events venue set in the stunning Wiltshire countryside. They are looking for an experienced House Manager to oversee and deliver a busy calendar of events in a spectacular fashion. From stylish brand takeovers to chic corporate stays and weddings.
The House Manager will take a proactive approach to encouraging new business and ensuring an exceptional client experience from initial enquiry to the delivery of the event itself.
You’ll be wondering what’s in it for you as the House Manager…
- £55,000 to £65,000 per annum
- Achievement-led bonus
- Working 45 hours over 5 days, inclusive of weekends
- 23 days of holiday allowance plus bank holidays
Responsibilities as the House Manager…
- Overseeing the seamless operation of all departments, managing the guest experience from initial enquiry through to the event day.
- Serving as the face of the venue, ensuring exceptional client interactions, warm welcomes, and a professional, memorable experience that reflects brand standards.
- Driving revenue by hosting client viewings, supporting the sales team, and identifying opportunities to optimise services, especially within the food and beverage department.
- Providing genuine leadership through training, rota management, and support for staff across all internal departments.
- Managing day-to-day house operations, including supplier coordination, venue presentation, and compliance with building maintenance and safety standards.
As the House Manager, you will manage all of the establishment’s in-house teams, including sales, planning and housekeeping. You will be responsible for empowering and inspiring the teams by providing 5-star training and support.
