Our client is a highly regarded Oxford college with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, fresh food to students, fellows and guests. Catering plays a central role in college life, from vibrant weekday lunches to refined formal dinners.
They are now seeking a confident Chef De Partie to join their professional brigade, working with fresh ingredients in a structured and supportive kitchen environment.
You’ll be wondering what’s in it for you as a Chef De Partie…
- Up to £35,000 per annum
- 40-hour contract with a structured rota
- Every Sunday and roughly every other Saturday off
- Overtime paid at x1.5 for the first 6 hours and x2 thereafter
- 30 days holiday plus Christmas off

Responsibilities as a Chef De Partie…
- Running your section across lunch and dinner services
- Preparing fresh dishes for approximately 150 covers at lunch and 90 at dinner
- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, organisation and presentation
- Supporting junior team members during service
- Assisting with prep, stock control and smooth kitchen operations
