We are so excited to be working with a refined 1 AA Rosette restaurant set in a beautiful Essex town. Known for its innovative take on Modern British cuisine, this award-winning kitchen is now looking for a passionate Sous Chef to help lead the team as they strive for a second Rosette.

You’ll be wondering what’s in it for you as the Sous Chef…

  • £38,000 per annum plus circa £5,000 service charge
  • 50 hours per week, working Wednesday to Sunday
  • Play a key role in the restaurant’s next chapter as they aim for 2 Rosettes
  • Opportunity to cook for bespoke events, private dining, and weddings

Responsibilities as the Sous Chef…

  • Leading by example on the pass and across all sections
  • Supporting and mentoring junior team members
  • Upholding the highest standards of quality, presentation, and consistency
  • Contributing your creativity to an ever-evolving menu

This is a fast-paced but rewarding kitchen, averaging 600 covers weekly alongside regular event catering. If you’re looking to push yourself in a high-calibre setting, this is the role for you.
