Are you a skilled Shift Engineer looking to join one of the UK’s leading luxury resort hotels?
Set within a large 5-star resort estate, this is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a busy engineering team responsible for maintaining exceptional standards across guest areas, restaurants, spa facilities, event spaces, and back-of-house operations. The resort features extensive leisure, hospitality, and event facilities, making this a varied and hands-on engineering role.
As a Shift Engineer, you’ll carry out both planned and reactive maintenance, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the property while delivering a high standard of service and safety across the estate.
This role would suit someone with previous hotel or hospitality maintenance experience who enjoys problem-solving, working as part of a team, and operating within a fast-paced luxury environment.

What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience working within a hotel or similar environment is essential
- Mechanical or electrical qualification, ideally to City & Guilds level
- Strong understanding of building maintenance and fault-finding
- Ability to carry out both planned preventative and reactive maintenance
- Positive attitude and strong problem-solving skills
- Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and occasional nights
Typical shifts operate on a rota basis and include:
- 07:30 to 16:00
- 10:30 to 19:00
- 14:30 – 23:00
